About Exstans
An independent firm, built on rigor and measured in decades.
ex · stare · extant
Our Name
Exstans is Latin for standing out.
From ex, “out,” and stare, “to stand.” It is also the root of extant: still in existence. A reminder of the firm we intend to build: distinctive, and lasting.
The Mark
A third, standing apart.
Two strokes in step, and one set at an angle of its own.
